Helsinki archipelago boat tour is 3 hours with your own group. On the archipelago boat tour you can see Kaivopuisto, Suomenlinna and Kuninkaansalmi from the sea. On the boat tour we will stop at either Vallisaari or Suomenlinna, where you can explore these former military islands for 1,5 h. Boat tour duration approx. 3h max. 8 people / boat.
Vallisaari is the most diverse natural site in the Helsinki metropolitan area with its old fortresses, the first of which were built on the island in the 17th century, when Finland was part of the Kingdom of Sweden. Vallisaari can be explored along marked routes with signs. Alexander Tour 3 km and Kuninkaansaari Island Tour 2.5 km lead to the most beautiful views. The routes are hilly and rocky in places, so these routes are not unobstructed.
Suomenlinna is listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site and for good reason. Suomenlinna was built during the Swedish era as a maritime fortress. Work on the fortress began 1748. Suomenlinna can be explored along marked routes with signs. Many of its roads are paved with cobblestones, so you need to wear comfortable walking shoes.
